Its easy to find several guides on “What to Do” or “What Not to Do” on a date, but most of them don’t give you too many options as far as what attire to wear. One of the most difficult parts of preparing for a date, or an event for that matter, is deciding what to wear. Don’t forget KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) when getting dressed for a date. Otherwise, you’ll be an over-dressed Frank Sinatra or an underdressed (place your favorite potato couch TV character here).
Most gentleman have never been introduced to the t-shirt and blazer concept. If you go against the grain and get out of your comfort zone with this look, you’ll be extremely and comfortably dapper.
Keep things neutral with conservative shades and add a pop of color as a conversation starter. This look can take you from a casual dinner date, to the bar, to a nice stroll downtown. A pair of colored chinos or white denim with loafers will create a flattering silhouette as opposed to wearing shorts.
