Casual Summer Inspired Style

It’s summer in Chicago and I’m definitely trying to make the most of my weekends here! The city has so much to offer for anyone and everyone! Dressing for the summer heat can sometimes be tricky and shorts aren’t suitable for all evening activities. This is a shoot from Chicago’s Maggie Daley park. Big thank you to my friend who continue to take stunning photos!

Here’s a breakdown of this styling:

Shirt - This shirt is from Batch Shirts and their style and fit is on point! The contrast color on the collar is a nice subtle detail and the fit is perfect. I would highly recommend this company if you like some room in the shoulders of your shirts and want it perfectly tapered, so there isn’t a ton of excess fabric around the waist when you tuck it in. The length of the shirt is great too, which can easily be worn untucked or tucked. They have some very bold shirts, but also all your classic colors as well.

Jeans - These are DSTLD summer weight denim and they are perfect for summer nights! They are lightweight and breathable and it makes wearing jeans in the summer very easy! The denim is raw denim, so it’s going to age great over time!

Bracelets - Aurum Brothers. By far the highest quality bracelets I own and they are awesome! I couldn’t help, but pick out the red and blue color combination.

Shoes - Huge fan of these Grant Stone shoes! This is a smaller shoe company and I would put their quality against a lot of top brands. High quality and super comfortable. These are definitely a more casual shoe, but with classic styling and still perfect for work (in casual works settings).

Socks - Flyte socks. This is a really cool sock company that just launched their kickstarter campaign and they are killing it! Well above their goal. Bamboo material, bold patterns and super comfy!

Belt - Mission Belt Company. I first saw this company on Shark Tank awhile back and this continues to be a go to belt for casual occasions.

Laces - Stolen Riches. Revive any pair of shoes with a pair of awesome laces!

Watch - Daniel Wellington. They are quickly becoming a classic timepiece!
