This is my attempt to challenge you to rethink your summer wardrobe. Personally, summer has always been a particularly challenging time of the year to remain stylish because of the heat. In the fall and winter, it’s easy to throw on a bunch of layers and appear put together. In the summer, you want to stay cool and have to rely on some quality staples that fit well.
Here is one new look to help you elevate your summer style:
Loafers
If I could recommend one upgrade to your summer wardrobe it would be loafers. My new favorite loafer brand is Eredita. They are handmade in Italy and will be your go-to shoes for work, weekend getaways and a night on the town. You won’t find a higher quality, handmade, Italian shoe at this price point.
White pants / light denim
White pants certainly aren’t for everyone, so if they aren’t for you then go with a pair of light wash denim. A nice fit is essential since either of these could easier be worn with just a t-shirt and loafers.
Short-sleeve button down
Do yourself a favor and buy an awesome short-sleeve button down shirt. I’m always a fan of this style because it’s nicer than a t-shirt, but isn’t as formal / hot as a full button down shirt.
